5 Easy and Fun Friendly Recipes to Make with Your Kids During Quarantine this Mother's Day

Mother's Day is almost here and if most of your food stock is composed of mostly canned goods thanks to the current ECQ situation then these recipes and food ideas are for you. These recipes are easy and fun to make with your kids.

CREAMY CURRY MUSHROOMS
Ingredients used:
- 1 Mega Prime whole mushroom
- garlic
- onion
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 3 tablespoon all purpose cream
- salt

Procedure:
1. Drain the liquid from the canned mushroom.
2. Saute chopped garlic and onion.
3. Add the mushroom and saute. Set aside.
4. Heat the oil then add the curry powder and stir.
5. Add the all purpose cream, mix it well, add the sauteed mushrooms and mix it well.

Tropical Fruit Ice Pops
Ingredients used:
- Around 3/5 of one Mega Prime Tropical Fruit Cocktail
- 2 oranges

Procedure:
1. Drain the syrup.
2. Juice the orange.
3. Mix the orange juice and fruit cocktail.
4. Pour contents into the ice pop maker and freeze overnight.

Milk Tea With TROPICAL FRUIT Sinker
Ingredients used:
- Around 2/5 of one Mega Prime Tropical Fruit Cocktail
- Tea bags
- Evaporada/evaporated milk
- optional: condensada or sugar

Procedure:
1. Drain the syrup.
2. Brew your favorite tea but use less water since you will add evaporada after steeping the tea.
3. Chop the fruit cocktail or put it in a food processer.
4. Add evaporada and condensada to the tea and stir.
5. Put the chopped fruit cocktail in a glass and pour the milk tea.

Corn Fritters
Ingredients used:
- 1 Mega Prime Cream Style Corn
- 1 Mega Prime Whole Kernel Corn
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
-salt
- optional: spring onion

Procedure:
1. Drain the whole kernel corn.
2. Mix the whole kernel corn, cream style corn, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and spring onion in a bowl.
3. Heat the pan over medium heat and place 2 spoonfuls of batter for each corn fritter.
4. Pan-fry each side of the corn fritter until golden brown.

Cheesy Tuna Sandwich with mushrooms
Ingredients used:
- 2 cans of tuna
- 1 Mega Prime pieces and stems mushrooms
- cheese
- 1 cup of sandwich spread or mayonnaise
- bread

Procedure:
1. Drain the liquid from the canned tuna and from the canned mushroom.
2. Mix the tuna and the sandwich spread in a bowl.
3. Add the mushroom and mix.
4. Spread the mixture over bread and top with cheese. 
5. Toast the bread in the sandwich maker and serve.
